Wednesday Night Rides at the Lakes!

Assuming no form of night ride tonight. Maybe we could do an alternative urban ride somewhere that has enough stairs and junk to make it interesting without getting in trouble for being a bunch of hoodlums?

Sorry for not posting, but no ride again tonight. I'm remaining hopeful that we'll get a final night ride in next Wednesday! Have fun if you do, do an urban ride. It's not so much my thing. I'm in full race season training on the road bike now.

The Lakes are again closed to mountain biking so the night ride will be off for this week.

And thus marks the end of the weekly night rides. I'd like to thank everyone who came out to them, and to thank the York County Parks for allowing them to be held. Leading rides was a learning experience for me, and I quickly learned that you can't please everyone, but I think for the most part, when the rides happend they were enjoyed by most.

Going forward I hope the park will allow us to run them again next winter (and that we have a less snowy winter). I also think it would be great if the park would allow us to ride at the Ridge when the Lakes are closed, other than during December at Christmas Magic.

Well, thanks again for all who came out to the rides!
