*Liability Release Waiver YAMBA Membership Liability Release Waiver In submitting this Membership application, I hereby make known that I will hold blameless in the case of accident, injury, or damage of any kind the York Area Mountain Bike Association (otherwise known as YAMBA), its Club officers, Members and Volunteers. I recognize that bicycling (mountain & road) is potentially dangerous, and I represent that I am a competent cyclist with safe equipment. I understand that I participate in club activities at my own risk. Such club activities include, but are not limited to, club social rides, training rides, night rides and club Trail work days. I further recognize that safety is my personal responsibility and I agree to participate in keeping all YAMBA Club rides and Trail work days safe. I agree to hold YAMBA harmless and indemnify the club for all costs, judgments and awards that may be claimed including the cost to defend such claims brought by myself or another on my behalf or that of others. I understand that I must wear a helmet that is fitted properly to me that is ANSI approved for my safety. If I fail to ride with an ANSI certified helmet meeting the proper standards, I will be withdrawn from the club ride. I do acknowledge that I have read the foregoing paragraphs and know and understand the contents thereof and agree to abide by all rules and regulations as such.
